What I bought today....

Sorry to be a buzzkill but has anyone mentioned the fact that brought is the past tense of bring, and bought is the past tense of buy. So the thread title should really be "What I bought today". I'd ignore it but I notice it everytime someone bumps the thread :computer:

I'm with you, TLG.

It's clear this topic will have a pretty good lifespan, so after only 70 pages and 400 posts... I've fixed it.

Scaled them tonight 333kgs each needed 2 scales but kept crashing electronic at 150kgs. So moved the weight more over to the 250kg house scales. Had 144 on the electronic and 189 on the House scales. Will be close to 700kgs once I add the bar and the center holder.

Nice painting Android!

When are you moving in to your new house?

Cheers mate, moving Easter weekend! ... still training at LM 8)

Sweet! Would offer to give ya a hand moving, but I'm going away on holiday that weekend. :)

Ah good. Catch up for a workout some day soon then. I'm practically natty at the moment, working hard not to loose too much of my gains.

Got some running shoes on the Rebel 25% off sale (Nike Lunarglide +4) to provide some support for my mild over-pronation, should hopefully help with the ankle problems

How do you find these? Intend to buy a pair of running shoes and was looking at those!

Quality shoe. I was tossing up between those and the asics kayano's. Went with asics in the end. Would be interested to see your review.

I would write up a review but I have no real experience with running shoes, since it's my first one have nothing else to compare it to besides the others I tried on in the shop. Two months on now though I'm definitely very thankful for getting these. They provide nice support for my pronation and have a good bounce to them from the heel. Only problem I have with it is that when I just walk in these my knees hurt (though I guess you're not supposed to use running shoes for walking right?).

They were just on the shelf at Rebel Sport, were quite a few of them there when I went. Their web site shows them as available and seems they have a 25% off sale on them again : http://www.rebelsport.co.nz/Footwear/Me ... Shoes.html

Always avoided these sort of things in favour of straps, but damn they're easy to use and very grippy. Recommended!!

Where did you buy them from?

Cost much?

www.bodybuilding.co.nz funly enough!

The pro series retail at $85, the originals at $65. I paid the extra because the pro series have a different (more grippy) material on them.

You can even get a pair like this Jimmy LOL
