The Warriors. Should Ivan go?

Don't know if theres any fans here but anyway....

Since I quit my job I can get back into watching the NRL and the first game I watched was the Warriors on the weekend. WTF?

I checked the table, looked at the seasons stats and then saw another typical bloody warriors display that I used to see week in, week out, a couple of years ago when i was a season pass holder. They aint changed a bit and still have no heart in the game, no leader like back when Campo was running the line! they looked puffed and spent at 20 mins into the second half. I was gutted to be proved right when I said to the brother in law (at 60mins) "I bet they still throw that lead away". I was just being glib, but low and behold! 20 mins and 20 points later they had gone and tried to throw the game!   they sat under the posts in the first half and didn't bother to drop goal it TWICE! instead spinning it out and fumbling. But just when they managed to hold on at the very end during golden point, they sit under the posts once again 30 yards out with 3 tackles to go and what do they do???? 1 minute to go in extra time,,,,,,having not broken the line for 20 whole minutes,,,,,,,,while sitting right under the bloody goal,,,spin it out wide and then lose the ball!!!!

It was that bad a performance I seriously wondered if some dodgy old pakistani bookmaker was sitting somewhere counting all the money he was gonna win.

I have to at least be fair, the ref had a lousy game and should have been shot for awarding that last try. He was blatantly held up and visible from every angle, but thems the breaks guys. get up, dust yourself down and try again FFS.

With all this in mind, I think its time for a new guy in the hot seat! Am I wrong?

i think the whole club needs an overhaul. bulldogs style.

i think stacey retriring is a good start, if brett seymour can stay off the juice thats even better - but i dont think we need to sign another half back - we have 3 capable players to play there next season. (hohia, johnson, john)

Money should be spent on a big running, offloading second rower or Quality prop - as the major let down this season was go forward.

The go forward lacked as the players attitude was crap and they lacked any sort of mogrel. teams come to mt smart and arnt scared anymore - the dragons game was like a training run for them with no worries of picking up injuries as we dont takle to kill anymore

lastley the managment should fall on there sword for there horrible recruitment(lillyman, royal, moon(?), kemp) this season and the descisions to let fien and witt go. Witt was the best goal kicker last season and would have won us 3-4 games this year.

i would love to see a great kiwi coach do the job - kearney, Bluey Mclennan, Graham Lowe but it seems the club are set to keep cleary

moon was signed (big money) to play at stand off - he aint quality enough to play stand off and now we sign seymour to play there and also have hohai, john that can play it too, what happens when tate is back ? ropati or moon gna get dropped...?

good point bro...ya reckon moon will get dropped? Be bloody funny if they drop moon considering they forked out big bucks for him...

yea... i think they should release Mckinnon & Kemp for sure($$$$). Kevin locke is an awsome fullback and should start there next season, you might see moon on the wing next year lol.

there are alot of scenarios but only a quality coach can visualise them and then have the balls to make the big changes/calls

look at the tigers, they moved benji back to 6 to give him more space and time, moved there young fullback into 7 and there playing awsome. im going to contradict what i said about locke being an awsome fullback and say i would love to see him play halfback recon he would be a bloody menace playing there. basicaly anywhere apart from the wing lol

they also need to blood the young half back shaun johnson & the hooker Mara from the 20's. We lack big time a quality hooker
