I'm just here stuffing my face with Tuna and thought I was share how I'm managing to really enjoy it.

I used to gag down 2-6 cans of Pams Tuna in Brine a day.

Got sick of it and didnt touch it for months, still had 100 or so cans left, so decided I'd figure out how to enjoy it. And I found a way, so let me share.

2x Cans of 185g Pams Brine Tuna.

1 Kumera

1/2 a Potato

1/2 an Onion

3 or 4 Mushrooms

1 Tomato

few heads of Brocolli

4egg whites

2egg yolks

some worchester sauce

How to prepare,

Cut Onion up, fry in pan until browned

Drain 2x can of Tuna, put in pan with Onion, cook until browned.

Add in all the egg stuffs.

Put in some worchester sauce.

Put in chopped mushrooms, broccoli, tomato kumura and potato

Put lid on and let veggies and stuff steam

Put into a bowl and enjoy.

Hella Yummy!

Feeds four normal people, or one protein craving Olympic Weightlifting.

I made this comment in Jono's training journal which you might be interested in:

That's a pretty high dosage of fish oil each day, are you worried about creating an Omega 3/Omega 6 imbalance in your body? Also, Omega 3 in that abundance would have reasonably high anti-inflammatory properties, do you think that would inhibit your growth (see video) at all?

Interesting point,

I'm not doing bb'ing so don't really care about the anti-inlam part.

I only did 4-6 cans a day for a little while, then I realised the mercury wasn't so good. Now I eat 1-2cans of Salmon a day instead, so I don't really see it as an issue anymore, but interesting points!

I was the same, I started eating a fair bit of tuna but then the Mercury put me off. Instead I supplement with Fish Pills for Omega 3 which are Mercury tested and I stick to Chicken and Red Meats for my protein sources. Even if your not training to build muscle mass, the anti inflammatory properties of Omega 3 in abundance would impede your strength gains. To what degree I have no idea but if your looking to gain every edge you can it's worth keeping in mind
