at what point do u class someone to be 'not natural' anymore?

well im interested to see what every 1s veiws are on natural bodybuilding

so we all know that roids and perscription dueretics are classed as a no no in the sport (NZFBB competition) etc

but as far as dueretics are concerned -do u class using them (perscription 1s) as making sum1 a 'non-natural bobybuilder' or do u see it as it as getting that cheating edge as far as a natural comp is concerned as it only benifits a competitor for the big day?

Man 1 day...you need to phrase your polls better - theyre confusing! lol.

I think there are different classes of "natural". Almost like vegetarians, vegans and all out raw food freaks. Some may not even touch any form of supplementation and others are borderline...i.e. using banned substances...

I do believe that prescription diurectics is a form of enhancement, it definately gives an individual the edge over someone using natural diurectics and shouldnt be used by a natural athlete if banned.

so i take it u voted for the last option on poll as i did? as it gives the edge ova others for the competition but does not enhance there performace or gains in any way for future progress? therefore the individual would still be classed as natural bodybuilder. :)

It enhances your appearance for sure mate...I think if your natural youre natural and that means no drugs at all. Not just AAS.

e.g. How about clenbuterol, ephedrine or T3?

Would using these types of fat-burners still classify you as natural?

Theyre not performance enhancing (well maybe not ephedrine) and certainly dont give any muscular gains whatsoever...but theyll certainly rip you up a hell of alot easier and quicker than the poor fella next to you that was using the latest state of the art fat burner from the supplement shop...

If it is listed as a banned substance it doesn't really matter what you think.... it is banned. Therefore = not natural.

i see where ur coming from, but i think that it still only makes u a 'non-natural competitor' not non natural bodybuilder?

lol, if i had the support from the mrs i prob would get into the whole 'enhanced' bbing, but dnt 'yet' and i dnt really want to throw anymore money into the sport and away from my fam at the mo.

I take protein powders and fat burners like most people, its a hard line to draw but anything on the banned substance list (http://www.wnbf.net/downloads/2009-WNBF ... s-List.pdf) is a good place to start.

Some are just obvious

Don't know what you took but if it is classed as a diuretic and not injected into you ass on a daily basis or given to you by some dodge "mens clinic", you are probably fine.

I chose NO, even though i know you can get disqualfied with the NZFBB, most people have tried a script diuretic in their time and I don't think it makes you automatically a non-natural bodybuilder. People can argue about this all day until they are blue in the face but don't you think there is a big difference between someone that has taken a couple of diuretics compared to someone that has been on a few cycles of gear? :-s HALLO big difference.

PS I put on 10kgs in 24 hours and ended up in hosptial with every test under the sun due to diuretics /eating some salty shit, won't be doing that shit EVER AGAIN!

In the sport of natural bodybuilding, the classification of natural is based on the organization you are competing in.

Yeah I was silly SM. Didn't load potasium, took far too many diuretics (naughty ones), Water loaded, depleted and removed salt. Directly after comp had too much shit food and my body went spastic, the doctors were stumped, tested OK for everything, didn't harm my body but EXTREME water retention was evident to the point of pitting if you pressed finger on leg, finger mark would remain. Pissed it all out within a week but it was scary shit.
