Is change really the only constant in the universe?

Hi all. How is everything?

I will tell you a little bit about myself. Been lifting weights on/off for a few years now. (once or twice a week at least but i have been known to skip weeks) Been serious the past month doing 6 days a week without fail.

I weigh 103 kg and am about 5'10. I started 3 years ago weighing 84 kg very lean with 7% bf before deciding to aim for 115-120 kg so I'm getting there. I dont know my bf now but I would say between 15-20%. I still have definition in my abs but nothing like it was a few years back. My diet has been terrible and everyone I know cannot believe how I am able to maintain a decent physique. I'm addicted to sugar. I honestly think that. There are nights when I am unable to sleep and I will drive to the gas station to get my fix. I become rude and obnoxious if I dont have it according to my partner and I think I need to change for her. I really want my diet to change and I'm here to look for motivation and ideas aswell as motivation to keep training 6 days a week. I'm lazy by nature so I need a boot in the ass every once in awhile.

I will appreciate any and all help.

Thanks for reading

Mate, sugar cravings are understandable BUT, if its getting out of hand maybe you should see a doc? I know nothing about this, but touchwod I hope it isnt anything like insulin imbalance/diabetes that is leading to extreme cravings ?

I dont think visiting a doc for some tests will be out of order.

best,

V.V.

Well I knew I had a problem when my son told me I was mean. That was a few weeks ago when I started reducing my sugar intake. The thing is I dont even realise I'm being mean until my partner leaves the house. I'm making a conscious effort to change and have cut down to having sugar once a day rather than with almost every meal. I've even gone a whole day once without. I find that going to the gym so often has been the best thing for my problem that I have discovered. My partner says I should just give in but I worry that if I dont do this now, I may pay for it in the future.

You're not depriving yourself of carbs are you?
