The 2009 NZFBB AGM was held in Auckland yesterday morning. Here is the new NZFBB Executive line-up:

President: Moe Elmoussawi

Vice-President: Terry Hills

Judges Chairman: Brian McFarlane

Secretary: Johanna Moses

Treasurer: Miwah Van

Executive Directors: Willie Walker, Simon Von-Sasson, Bronwyn Inglis & Rachael Desmond

Excellent result. Congats to all involved. Under your positive direction & experience NZFBB should take over as the most influential BBing group in NZ & drive the final nail into NABBA NZ's coffin. Just get the Nationals back on track & properly dated.

Can I ask why as an active member I didn't receive notice of the AGM being held?????

Yes, sorry mate - the Secretary had a number of problems with the membership list .. some missing info and a number of incomplete or incorrect addresses. I'm sure your address was fine, but we rely on members filling out their details clearly and fully on the registration forms, but many I have seen after an event are quite poorly filled out.

We did have all the forms and notices on our website for a couple of weeks so they could be downloaded, but not everyone visits our site often if at all ... perhaps they are too busy on this site instead?! :lol:

how do we go about changing our postal address , as ive since moved and stil getin them sent to old house. do i just wait until i register again this yr for comp?

http://www.nzfbb.org.nz. I've recently taken over the maintenance of the site - not to change to overall look, but make sure that relevant info is posted promptly and correctly. I'm also progressing slowly with adding a lot of historical info like event results and photo link from previous year's events.

Our server has been playing up for a few days, but it seems I can access it again now so I can add the AGM results.

I guess months of dieting and a couple days without water will do strange this to handwriting :lol::lol:
