NZBB's changing of the guard

In this sport, i think natural bodybuilding truely is a minority. Especially in New Zealand and deserves its own sub-category. - I think there are MANY reasons for this, which is why im voicing my opinion.

In this sport, from what i've picked up. Most people make their minds up whether they will stay natural for life, OR later on down the track at some stage choose to use AAS or some PED.

This decision, which i have personally made also. Is influenced by various factors such as. - What you've been exposed to when you first started out. The people you look up to. The people you aspire to look/be like. The competitive aspirations to succeed amongst others like yourself. To challenge yourself on a level playing field. Your family values. These all factor into the decision.

Maybe we could put a voting post up? - That way you can have a clear idea if this community which exists of both naturals and non, want to have a sub-category added to the site. :)

i agree with where your coming from but thats why i made a comment earlier on people who say they are natural and not

a few years ago i had 2 or 3 people i wanted to be like who all stated they were natural and i would have taken any advice they offered

i was dissolussioned to find out they werent natural and what they were taking to look like they did sure they still trained hard and ate right but anyone can claim to be natural and make themselves a role model to others wanting to be the same.

i would look at the natural category with the same view as any other category.

I think the way this web site is set up right now which is the way I like it, assumes everyone is natural and only a minority use AAS hence a specified forum for those that do.

If we have a forum for Naturals as well that would suggest that they are another minority group, so we end up with a minority group that use and a minority group that dont, so who the hell is the majority of bodybuilders then?? :pfft:

Personally I don't really see the need for another section. I tend to think of everything outside the steroid section as traing based where is (having read most of it) the steroid section is more "how to stick what where" and "how much of what" type stuff. Training is training. Lift heavy, eat heaps and rest heaps (or less if your geared up :pfft: ). But then I have always liked to keep things simple :D

Can we just setup a vote, I will accept the outcome and let the issue rest.

I find it interesting that those who disagree with the separate section seem to have the opinion that all postings outside of the AAS section are assumed as natural, this is truly naive.

As Nick points out the natural bodybuilder seems to be the minority in the sport, why not set the expectation for future competitors so they can make an informed decision? Even trial it for a few months and see how it goes, it only takes a few clicks of a button.
