1 sachet of tuna - $0.99 on special

1/4 cup of cooked chickpeas - about $0.10

1/5th of a bag of baby spinach leaves - $0.65

tbsp of pesto - about $0.30

salt - free

= $2.04 worth of om nom nom food

I have this every day pretty much:

185gm tin of tuna - garlic & olive oil is the BEST! 40gms+protein

Broad beans... yeah yeah yuk but I love them

Done $3.00 approx.

100g (raw wt) rump, 1 tomato, 1 capsicum, coupla sticks celery, 5cm cucumber, 130g (cooked=raw) kumara - stuffed if I know the total cost, but it's probly more like $4 or so...

100gm diced peeled kumara. got no idea how much..100gm spinach. got no idea how much..trying to find my grocery shopping receipt.

Total cost - guess $3.00

Hmmm, I'll totally have to do estimates of the cost, but I'm currently munching on some tuna mixed with mashed up chickpeas and wrapped in a tortilla. The tuna/chickpea mix has done me 3 lunches so we've got 1xsmall tin of thai chilli tuna (they were on special for $1), 1x medium sized tin of plain tuna (about $2.50), 1 x small tin of chickpeas (about $1.50) = $5/3 = $1.67 and the tortillas are budget brand (only the best for me!), and they are about $3.99 for 15, so about .27c each.

So my lunch cost a grand total of $1.94 - bloody bargain and supremely yum!
