Although I was a day late, managed to get test and check out the shop, walked out with a new shaker that replaces my super market one :oops: sweet as, cheers Terry.

How bout a membership card Terry?

We pay a small fee, fill out form with email details, mobile etc

News e-letter along with up coming products etc and discounts etc.

Just a possible idea.

Or we just fill in a form online which might be easier and no paper.

maybe just pay for the membership card, like when you lose your card for the gym and you pay $2 to replace it, just an idea...

Excellent idea, guys - I like it! I'm planning to introduce a VIP member scheme once the opening special price period is over (probably end of August). A VIP member will probably be any regular customer and they will get a laminated card with a barcode on the back - they will then just need to present the card to get their discount (probably 10% or more on all items not already on special). We might introduce a graded discount schem i.e. the more you buy over time the bigger the discounts. We will always have certain products heavily reduced at any one time - plus the free taste testings on Friday afternoons will continue!

There won't be a charge for issuing or re-issuing cards - in fact if anyone doesn't have their card for any reason they can just give their name .... the card with barcode just makes it easier for the details to be entered in the till computer, but it won't take much to look up a name on the system.

What I'll do is work on an application form which can be filled in at the store and those applying will walk away immediately with their card. The form will allow us to email (or post) regular updates on specials, new products etc.

Moe and I also plan to develop a new NZ bodybuilding magazine later this year - this can also be something that we can sell and send out to VIP members and also sell in the shop. More about that later.

I've just tried my ISO-100 that I bought last Friday, and it's not only delicious, but not a lump in sight, unlike my Horley's stuff. So I'm very impressed!

Good to hear, Chillicat! I'll be opening a tub of MuscleTech Mass-Tech (Strawberry) for the FREE sampling session this Friday (4pm-6pm) as well as the BSN Syntha-6 (Chocolate) from last week .. plus all the bars, cookies and RTD's again. :nod:

What are the dates like on your products mate? The Xtreme store in Auckland city are full of expired stuff? I mean a full shelf set of MassTech that has expired/ very close to expire? And version 1 of VPX Shotgun...aren't they selling version 3 now? Thats got to be old as too?

As I explained on page 1 of this post, musclearmor - these is no problem with the expiry dates of the product in this new store. Some stuff has expiry dates later this year, but having only been open for 3 weeks none of the stock has had time to exceed is Best Before date. :nod:

There is a back door option, but it might be a bit cluttered down that alley way with Gasp and Blanketman sleeping by the back door though...(I think they assume Xtreme is the new soup kitchen??? :pfft:

Piripi here. One of Joe Ulberg's team. We met when you gave an excellent presentation for competitors at Xtreme. Could I reserve four tickets for the Regional Competition in Wellington on September 16th for day and night shows please? I'll come in and pay for the tickets tomorrow, Monday.

One set is for a 13 year old. Not sure if this affects ticket cost - we can clear this when I come in.

Thanks. Piripi - yes, I certainly remember you as one of the enthusiastic bunch at the seminar! I'll have your tickets ready for you when you come in ... we'll pretend your 13 year old is a bit younger so they qualify for the 1/2 price child ticket :wink:

Tickets are also now available at the store for the River City Classic in Wanganui on Oct 3!
