Roidz, I would be thinking its not the esters of Test that would determine androgen levels in the blood but the quantity of androgens used. With respect to test levels in the blood the best indication is by measuring Free Test or bio-available Test. This is a slightly more expensive test due to its complexity. Total Test though will give you some indication of test in the blood.
