I feel worse after diet change

I decided to get serious on my diet as I was drinking far too much beer and eating far too much yummy stuff. But now I always have an upset stomach and smelly farts. The upset stomach sucks but I don't mind the smelly farts. Nice silent but violents in the office are fun :pfft: . Seriously though, why would this have started happening? Is the body cleansing itself? I train hard three times a week, eat only chicken, rice, kumara, nuts/seeds/oils veges and fruit, all the recommended stuff. My current supplements are protein powder and creatine (Kre-Alkalyn) which is suppose to be good on the gut. I felt better when I was eating a bit rough, what gives?

How long have you been on your new diet? For the first few weeks of mine I felt terrible, sick to the stomach for most of the day. I have finally come right and have no problems, my body even copes with slowly adding more food to my diet. The smells however will never go away, thanks protein! :D

It may be as simple as just the change in diet and your body getting used to it. Suffered from the smelly farts real bad last year, which was due to all the extra protein.

I fixed that by getting hold of some digestive tablets. These helped to process the all the protein I was taking in.

Whenever I change and go off my diet, or go back on my diet after a couple of weeks break, I always get lots of gas for a few days while my body re-adjusts. I'd say give it some time and then if no improvement look at adjusting what your eating
