They are lower GI eaten raw, the GI seems to go up when cooked. They are STILL LOW GI when cooked, but offically they are better for you if on a low GI diet eaten raw.

I buy Haraways too!! Is that weird so many of us eat the same brands?

I eat them both.

A cup of rolled oats (nice and hot) followed by 5-6 weet bix (cold milk)

And of course that protein shake to finish off with.

I find it easier to throw a cup of oats in a blender, raw, and drink em down - if you were to cook a whole cup by the time they expand etc you end up with a BIG bowl full that fulls you right up! Does anyone else notice this?

yes i do the same at about 3 pm...10 tablespoons of whole grain oats with 30 g protein...a lot quicker and easier to consume...i have 6 weetbix for breakfast.....

10 teaspoons! man you must have some extraordinary patience, i just throw some in a bowl approx a cup or so...
