hey tikz2b ...how about some more info. What age, height, weight are you, what is your history with weights, maybe even post a pic so the people can advise you. Lotsa ways to get big....but guessing you want to look like a tank...

Awesome dude I'm the same as you, I just want to get BIG. There are some pretty experienced people on this site who actually post their routines in the Workout Journals section. If you scan through it you can find a workout that you think will work based on their progress or goals they have.

I should mention however, if you want to get big, the most important thing IMO is nutrition. When I made a comittment to eating more I made some descent gains

Keep it simple, especially if you're starting off. Basically you got to eat more and lift heavier weights.

Here's a sample program I just made up ;)

Monday: Bench press (Flat) 4 sets 5 - 8 reps

Bench press (Inclined) 4 sets 5 - 8 reps

Tricep pushdowns 3 sets 5 - 8 reps

Flies 3 sets 5 - 8 reps

Wednesday: Shoulder press 3 sets 5 - 8 reps

Lat pulldown 3 sets 5 - 8 reps

Seated rows 3 sets 5 - 8 reps

Bicep curls 3 sets 5 - 8 reps

Friday: Squats 3 sets 5 - 8 reps

Deadlifts 3 sets 5 - 8 reps

Leg extensions 3 sets 5 - 8 reps

Calf raises 3 sets 5 - 8 reps

Programs are usually set out to train each body part while allowing them enough time to recover. Heavy weights with lower reps (5 -8) helps with the muscle building, if you can do more reps on a weight, then you have to increase the weight you're lifting.

Strictly speaking, there is no single right answer. Feel free to vary what you're doing from time to time.
