Chris & Wilmari (Wil is doing figure) and they are doing couples aswell.

Mishell is doing figure....should do well as shes been looking bloody great for a while now. Amazing abs and back!

Is Nato entering?

Havent heard of any others. Im not entering this year, theres usually a good number at the show so fingers crossed they turn up on the day!

dnt think nato doin it. i got mate from paeroa entering too and me and few of the guys going to support. was just about tempted to giv it a crack but dnt think il get enuff of a cut goin to make worth wile. so will prob just stick to plan (CNIs in 12wks) :roll:

My wife and I are hoping to get there to support Chris and Wil. You couldn't find 2 nicer people.

I agree!! I'm catching up with them both this weekend. Being Wils first comp I'll be giving a few pointers to help out with the first show jitters. :P

Shelly (Boyes) who is the show organiser has been in touch with me this week and tells me "this years show is going to eclipse last years". There is word of some great competitors doing the show, however, we can only tell on the day.

I've been attending some posing sessions and know that there is one hot new figure girl coming ..... amazing delts, upper back width and abs.

New faces to couples should do well (get in sync you two & you'll be fine).

With the show starting at the later time of 1pm it gives competitors a good night sleep and not much of a gap between shows which is getting more popular I hear.

2009 NABBA Waikato Body Building Champsionships, Saturday 25 July 2009 at Clarence Street Theatre, cnr of Clarence & Tristram Streets, Hamilton. Judging starts at 1:00pm - $15; Evening Finals start promptly at 6:30pm - $25. Tickets available at all Ticketdirect Waikato outlets - Door Sales Available on the day.

I'll point out the obvious that this is NOT the only show in the Waikato this year as NZFBB has Nationals with a new (to be confirmed) date of 24 October. This has upset a few folks already who have competed earlier and see that extra 3 weeks as rather hellish. Hopefully it isnt really standing room only 'cause I like to watch a show sitting on my non-season cushioned ass!

So, with that, I wish all competitors entering the very best. Enjoy your moment, shine with the knowing you have done your best....and take the knowledge from this show to the next one!

I wish everyone competing all the best. I know the show was brilliant last year; Shelley does us proud. Wish I could compete too but after Bay of Plenty last weekend and our Hawke's Bay show August 1st, then the next weekend is Pro-Am, I just can't do that many in a row! :shock:

You are all welcome at Hawke's Bay Champs too!

Don't want a free ride at Nationals. The Mr Athletic looks awesome. Anyone know him? Hopefully he'll carry on to Nationals, would enjoy competing against him!
