avice on importing gear

i need sum advice on importing gear is this able to be done? ,how hard do customs crack down on it , is it more trouble than it worth and am i better off finding a local supplier

yea ive actually done a couple of cycles but my suppliers havnt turned out to be very consistant and theres no point in doing it if its not consistant rite?

And if you try importing yourself you think customs will kindly be more consistant for you? How do know that what your purchasing from overseas is even what you ordered?
