hay ppl, awesome site!im new to this aswell as the gym but very keen to learn.

im 20yr male,90kg around 175cm quite a big build.

at the moment ive been going to the gym 4 days a week for around an 1 hr 1/2 .

nut the thnig im lacking is a good diet(as i dont know what and when i sould be eating).

i also just got a big bucket of protein whey stuff to help.any thing else i need?

That is good that you have big bucket of protein which is good start but you need more protein to help with muscle growth like,eggs,tuna,salmon,milk,yogart,chicken,beef,lamb and for carbs,oats,pasta,rice,veggies,kumara,fruit etc

It's pretty much all about diet, training and resting. Just start with protein an creatine for your supplements. Don't buy into the bull shit claims of most supplements, money is always best spent on quality foods first. Creatine is one of the few proven supplements on the market.

NOTTTTTTT!! i wouldnt waste ur money on creatine to start with mate. there are so many diffrent brands that can have different results for diffrent peps. creatine did jack all for me both times ive tryed it(as far as gaining anything other than a bit of recovery from it). just concentrate on diet and gettin ur quotter of protien a day to start with :wink:

if you wanna take creatine go for it, just because this guy didnt have any luck dosent mean anything.. its only $30 for 300grams or so, its not the most expensive supp out there, just get creatine monohydrate..

re diet: try and spread 6meals over the day every 3 hours or so, get clean carbs like oats, kumara, brown rice with every meal.. try and have 30-40g servings of protein each meal. so like 180-200grams of beef, 140-170g of chicken, 6 eggs with 2 yolks the others just use the whites. (make an omlette/scrambled eggs), 170g of tuna etc and your whey protein after workouts and maybe with milk before you go to bed. try and get some fruit and veges in 2-3 meals a day too..

Well when the dudes talking about supplement to get big, creatine is the way to go. Just because creatine didn't to jack for you doesn't change the fact the good old creatine is still super effect for most people, that's if diet an training is on point.

ohhhhhhhhh!!!! :doh: sorry, in that case be sure to tell him to buy some roids then too :wink:

so how is he suppose to tell if creatine works for him then if he starts out with new diet,protien and creatine all at the same time??? best to just start with the one supp (protien) and then once he plattos he should then try creatine then so he is able to notice any changes/gains.

haha, I don't know about monitoring the creatine results form the get go, but the important thing is it's still going to help him progress faster. I've alway just taken creatine an protein powder an the odd test booster. Hell I don't even cycle the creatine. :pfft:

i take beta-alanine half teaspoon half hour before workout and helps me push more, i stand beside it because of noticeable diffrence.

i forgot to take b alanine last night and doing leg workout on my normal intensity, i couldnt feel them at the end and felt weak and wanted to leave gym haha... just to be precise i was doing drop-sets quads, lunges etc

Boy oh boy :roll: I agree with 1 day, dont worry about the cretine yet it will be a waste of your money until you have all your food nailed and optimise your training prog. Most likely the gains you will make from it will be fluid retention as you wont be training properly and you will come off and lose all the fluid you gained....
