Getting into it b4 I turn 40

Hey all,

Here's my quick intro - I have a reasonable history of weight training, and 15 years ago I aspired to enter a BB comp, but real life got in the way at the time. Now, I'm turning 40 next year, and am kind of getting back into it before the endogenous testosterone hits the bottom of the barrel. By the end of the year, I intend to get well back into the single-figure bodyfat levels, for starters.

Cheer guys.

I train at Club Physical, as they have a branch close to where I live, and a branch close to where I work. This means I can reliably get a weight session in, in the morning or on my lunch break, and do a cardio session in the afternoon/evening. I have a reasonable amount of free weight gear at home (d-bells, b-bell, kettlebell etc) to supplement this.

I am in the process of progressively cleaning up my diet. It's generally been pretty healthy, but I'm cutting out the cheat meals, going for clean re-feeds (ie, basically carb cycling to keep the overall calories low) instead, whilst maintaining a protein intake in the 160-180g/day range (I'm approx 85kg at the moment). Fats are minimal, but I supplement with EFAs.
