Hi all, trying to include Flaxseed oil for some good fats to my diet. Below is the link if u need to look at my diet.

viewtopic.php?f=11&t=5692

Flaxseed oil in the link below is the cheapest place i found.

http://www.punchsupplements.co.nz/suppl ... d-oil.html

If any better offers please let me know.

1. Is NFS a good brand?

2. In the website, it does not mention how many capsules i need to consume for my daily needs?

3. As im planning to cut, Do i need to add dextrose to my PWO shake? If yes, how much do i need to take? (currently PWO i take about 50g with 2 scoops of WPI)

Cheers :D

I've ordered things from them, they're reliable and timely etc.

Well i did find that site as well, but it doesnt say anything about shipping costs. So i ignored it.

and punch is free.

Punch should get some stock soon. :pfft: :pfft:

Cheapest I've found is Foodtown in the Health section....x200 1000mg capsules is about $20-$24 depending if Flaxseed or Fish Oil.

Can even get 400's for $34, even cheaper again and they have a good range of oil and capsules.

And New World....

In terms of dose, it's simply an essential fat, as part of your planned diet.... but I have it in one meal, 100kg guy (plus or minus ), training 4-5-6 times a week, 10 x 1000mg caps, once/day.

Thanks TFB. I have bought some Flaxseed oil from this health shop. I have 1 tbs at 10.30am and 3pm.

Anyway, the lady on the counter suggested that once it has been opened it needs to be stored in the fridge?

On the bottle it says store below 30deg.

I have it at work on my table and the temperature does not go over 25deg.

So is it ok to leave outside or do i need to fridge it?

Fridge. Flaxseed oil is very unstable once removed from the seeds and will turn rancid if not refrigerated. It's generally stored in non-transparent containers to limit its exposure to light. And it definitely shouldn't be used for cooking. It has a low smoke point at only 107 degrees celcius (meaning it turns into nasty trans fat when heated above its smoke point).
