tryptophan in protein

TOMDABOM

why don't you take it last thing at night.

L-tryp is a good amino acid - helps promote good mood/well being. and assists with sleep, that is why people always fall asleep after having turkey on christmas day, as it's laden wiht it.

definitely recommend L-tryp - curbs the cravings and helps with diets moodwise.

Ice has no/low carb - I know other powders will quote the same but chances are they probably have some sugars in there - particularly if they are sweet. Make sure you are comparing apples with apples.

If you are taking it in water then this could be why you are feeling drowsy - no insulin spike - (Are you having it between meals? - supports the drop in glucose).

I would use it post workout but use a WPC shake in the evening - sleep on. Breakdown will be more prolonged.

nother thing you could try is the ripped factors version as it will give you a cafine hit at the same time. (Just not too good to sleep on).

... this is the alternative product mentioned in the BB.com article.

Never used it - but had used GHB back in the day when it was legally sold over the counter in granule form as a bodybuilding product.

cheers for the responses, it definitely gets me more tired if i mix it with water. I think i will just mix it with a different more carb based shake, would it degrade the WPI much if i did so?

oh and im taking the musashi ZMA for the sleep, works quite well i think and cheap too
