Boy Nz certantly has its good points, but there are somthings due to our small population that we suffer for !!!

Hows this for a TV,Phone,Internet deal

You get unlimited cabel TV (500 odd chanels)with the latest movies

plus, unlimited local and long distance phone calls with unbeleivebly cheap international rates

plus unlimited internett access with every virus and security feature you can imagine

All in the one package for a toatal of $49-95 a month !!!!! with no hidden costs!!!

I brought a 5 mega pixel kodak camera a 256 memery card plus a photo printer with docking station and charger all for $250-00 on a special !!

you can buy a PT Cruiser car over here for $12995-00

you can buy a Dodge Ram Pic up for $21995-00

You can go out for a meal of as much as you wanna eat for $8-00

you can get a 15 piece bucket of KFC with all the sides for $9-95

I dont worry about the conversion rate because if you live here you spend here right !!

New Zealand has a LONG LONG way to go in regards to technology.

Other countries have T1 internet access, think about 10 times the speed of broadband we have here at no limit for about the half price.

PXT phones, theyve been the norm in japan for the last 5 years, compared to 2 years here. 3G and Video Messaging is touted as space age tech here, its been around about 4 years ago in other countries.

It costs less to txt message and talk on your mobile country in most underdeveloped countries than here.

Companies need to get their heads outta their asses and wake up and realize we have to move on at practical prices for good technology.

Just my opinion.

Agree 100%

In Hong kong 100 free minutes cellphone free minutes means just that any time of day and at half the price we pay here for off peak.

We are becoming more and more 2nd world if there was such a thing

I think its more how much it costs to deliver the technology thats the problem.Population is the hurdle.

NZ usually gets alot of new things first as a trial i believe.

In the uk we have only just gone electronic tickets for buses an trains.

The banking system is way behind as well.
