and yea gh gut is pretty common

internal organs expanding pushing the stomach out

This is a myth. There is no scientific evidence to prove anything about organs pushing the stomach out lol

People who are wasting away who use GH are on a much higher dosage than bodybuilders and I don't see them with huge guts...?

Yup agreed the gh gut is a myth.

The only side Ive ever experienced was carpal tunnel, painful at night but tolerable.

Look at photos of Bodybuilders of 20-20 yrs ago from Mike Katz, Arnold, Ken Waller, Robby Robinson, Bob Paris, Phil hill.

None seemed to ever have large guts like pros from last 10-15 yrs, admittedly none of the the guys were as massive as todays pros, but then again "Phil Hill" was pretty thickset.

Almost certainly one or a combination of extermely high doses of

-HGH

-AAS

-or Insulin

has to be responsible for this, and most likely it is HGH as it can cause growth of viseral tissue (organs), but of course massive doses for extended periods would be needed, it is not uncommon for a pro body builder to use more than 10-15IU of HGH daily when therapuetic dose would be 2-4IU daily...

so there you go, it is the dose that makes the poison

By the way 10-15 IU of HGH daily would cost more than the average family man makes in a day, so probably not an issue for most people like your friend, and I cannot see 2IU of HGH causes much problem as this is about what a 18-20yr old helthy person makes.

If you'd like to show me a credible study showing that increased circulating endogenous IGF is the cause of a distended belly then you might have a point but until then its a myth/theory.

Comparing pictures is pointless unless they are all on the same diet and protocols.

Now if you were to say abuse of igf-lr3 could be a cause then that would make more sense as exogenous igf does not act like the body's own igf-1

OMCV6 - wasting patients receive higher doseages than that.

or AIDS patients here is the dosing regimen for somatropin:

Acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) - associated cachexia or

AIDS-associated weight loss —

For patients weighing more than 55 kg: Subcutaneous, 6 mg a day at bedtime.

For patients weighing 45 to 55 kg: Subcutaneous, 5 mg a day at bedtime.

For patients weighing 35 to 44 kg: Subcutaneous, 4 mg a day at bedtime.

For patients weighing up to 35 kg: Subcutaneous, 0.1 mg per kg of body weight a day at bedtime.

Just to help calculate how many IUs that all comes to somatropin 0.3mg is equal to 0.9 IU. (this means its 0.333mg per IU).

Reference: USP DI® Drug Info. for the Health Care Pro. - 26th Ed. (2006)

There you go also hav you any evidence for your claim bout the gut?
