Newbie planning cycle, your thoughts?

Hey all, been reading around theses forums as well as a few others for a while now, thought Id make a post..

First of all some backgroung info, Im 23years old 6ft 87kg @18% bodyfat, have been training solidly for almost 2years now. Generally train 5 days a week of weights (e.g. mon-chest, tue-back, wed-legs, thur- arms, fri-shoulders) plus 1 day for abs and cardio. Have only recently (last 6 months) sorted my diet out, if you would like a full breakdown just ask and I will post. I am currently on a cyclic keto diet to lose my excess bodyfat wanting to drop to about 10-12%. Only supps used being WPI protein shakes and a multivitamin.

Last year I made a very silly ill informed decision and did a 6 week cycle of dbol only (yes yes I now realise how dumb I was! Didnt take time to research what I was doing) but a year later and a lot wiser I have done a lot of reading and research and am planning a proper cycle. p.s. I gained about 8kg mainly water and good strength gains but soon lost the weight.

Heres what I have planned:

Week 1-12 Test E 500mg week

Week 1-6 DBol 40mg ed

Week 1-12 Arimidex (if I can find it) 0.5mg ed

PCT-

Week 15-16 clomid 100mg ed, 17-18 50mg ed

Week 15-16 nolva 40mg ed, 17-18 20mg ed

Would like to use some hGC but there is soo many differing opinions on how to use, so would really appreciate some info/advice on what works well for every one else, and how to add into this cycle..

Thought Test E and DBol would make a nice basic combo, plus arimidex to be safe. PCT is based on my research.

Will not even consider starting until I am down to 12% bodyfat max! So aiming for maybe the end of the year or even early next year, no hurry as I would like to get things right second time round.

As far as bloods go what tests are recommended and when (e.g. before, during, after)??

Any advice/comments greatly appreciated. Also just wondering if anyone has had experience bulking on a keto diet, just interested?

IMO - You should wait longer mate. If you have been training well for two years and only just pulled your nutrition together in the last 6 months - chances are you haven't pushed your body as hard as it can be naturally.

Admittedly since you have already tried dbols - it can make any natural gains seem redundant. Only natural gains in muscle are typically ones you get to keep.

I have no experience with Arimidex - nor have I know anyone else personally who has. But 12 weeks of Test E and Dbol would be a good basic introduction. Just remember it's not going to do what you think it is unless you hit nutrition 100%.

Bulking on a keto diet .... have done the keto diet twice in prep for a show. Without going over all of the technical info which you can find by searching other threads on the forum ..... I got smaller not bigger.

Yeh, fair enough. Realistically I wouldnt want to do it until next year but maybe I should adjust that until late 2010 or even 2011.

I do now understand the importance of nutrition not only while on cycle but all the time and I have noticed a big difference since following a good diet. Although my weight has gone down my lean body mass has gone up.

As for arimidex it seems uncommon here in nz. Are there any AI's that you have had experience with?

I agree with keto usually making you smaller, Im losing around 1% bodyfat a week at the moment which to me is quite amazing. But I was wondering if you added say 500 calories above maintanence if it would be useful to put on lean body mass while keeping bodyfat down? Seems logical in theory to me.. maybe?

40mg of dbol ed or 6weeks is going to knock your system around mate. Stuff out there at the mo which is strong as f*ck and you sure as hell would be feeling it at 40mg.

agreed a lower dosage if you're doing it for six weeks would be better

Thanks for the feedback..

So would say 20-30mg ed be better? Or how about if i did say 4-5 weeks at 40mg ed, would it make much difference?

Also, what blood tests are recommended during or after a cycle? What do you guys normally get checked? If at all.
