Glutamine and Test Booster help

Foundation

Recommended Posts

Hey Guys and Gals,

Just a newb question requiring some direction....

Its time to change the workout, been on it for 10 weeks now with 1 week break at the end, also looking at adding Glutamine and a Test Booster (32yrs) to my supps, currently taking Kre-Alkalyn, Inner Armour Super Quad Protein & Multi Vitamins, diet is good, probably need more sleep other than that, all is pretty sweet.

Can someone please recommend a manufacturer for both that has worked for them and maybe some to stay away from.

For glutamine, I've seen the Balance Capsules and Effervescent, EAS and Horley's range and the prices have a huge variance.

For a Test booster, I've seen Balance tribulus 20,000, Fusion Zeus Test, Novadex XT and ISA Test.

Currently weighing in at 91kg, roughly 22-24 bf

Cheers :)

i'm 34 mate, finished 8 weeks of novadex xt about a month ago, in the time i was taking it my diet was reasonably good and i gained 6kg and have held on to it since finishing, even with a less desirable food intake. strength also increased a good deal.

strength is still going up gradually now but finding recovery is taking longer since coming off novadex xt. i was using a mass gainer 2x per day and a cassein protein before bed along with my usual efa's, multivit/mineral.

i've found glt3 glutamine(powder) by pvl to be ok in the past and also musashi glutamine.

hope this is helpful.

One option to look at in regards to glutamine is to get a protein powder with added glutamine...

It depends on what you think of the inner armour stuff.. yes you got it cheap... but it is very high sugar...

I know the horleys powders form the elite range have added L-Glutamine, but i'm sure there are others out there which do as well.

As for test, i now Isatori do samples of ther Isa-test, if you can find a store which sells thier products they might have samples there.

Yeah heard good things about the Novadex xt and also the Fusion Zeus Test, with the Novadex xt, how many caps did you take each day and how much did you weigh before the cycle?

Theres also a big price difference between the pvl and musashi glutamine, did you try both? what were they like for you?

Yeah noticed that with the Horley's range, haven't done much study on the amounts of extra's they do contain and if it satisfies the required amounts.

Was told I could get a 20kg bag of WPC for $375 which sounds pretty good, but then it doesn't have flavour and the other extra's.

http://www.reactiv.co.nz/Pure_L-Glutamine

this doesn't look to bad either...

Has anyone tried this? anygood?

Lamborghinilova makes a good point, i get over 15grams a day of glutamine jst from my two whey and one casien shakes each day which i understand to be ample sufficancy. so check the back of ur protein and see how much ur getting already

Ive used Isa-test and gaspari novadex XT and would recommedn XT again good price also, the isa-test in my opinon was a complete waste of time was from memory $140 a bottle !@&$@*.

Im currently using ZMA and i realise thats not a test booster in the sense the other two are but im def feeling much better recovery wise.

All the best.

What powder are you using?

The super quad doesn't have any glutamine or anything extra in it. (added in)

also, i can't find the amino acid profile anywhere on the net, which makes me suspicious. also it has both high sugars, and aspartane in it... the worst of both worlds...

Hi there

BigMD and I use Metaphysics Gluatmine and when in competition season I really like Tribulene (also by Metaphysics). Gymeze sells this. Not sure of the cost sorry, as we are lucky enough to be sponsored by Metaphysics (somehow I think BigMD may be the main reason for this :pfft: ). They are definitely worth looking into as a quality product which I have had great results on (and i have tried a bunch).

Cheers G

I use Defining Whey and Casien from Reactiv. http://www.reactiv.co.nz jsut look under products and it gives you nutritional break down of each product.

was 84kg before going on novadex xt and sorting diet and other sups, sitting just over 90kg now. took 2 caps a day right before bedtime.

how long did it take you to put on the 6kg and you wouldnt know the difference in BF before and after? Curious as currently running with my second ever actual bulk.
