I had a large portion of very rich baked chocolate cheesecake last night. I hadn't done any exercise all day, and I ate it just before bedtime. And I'm not sorry I did, so there! :P

sounds like you're at an AA meeting and updating everyone on your weekly indiscretions LOL - nice one tho good to see you're also human 8)

Oooh something else I do (since too much milk makes me a tad bloaty). I'll just add a couple tablespoons of milk to my usual protein powder and make it into a paste. I'll either eat it there and then like a chocolate pudding, or even bake it. DELISH!

I'm a coffee junkie , but try not to over-do it.. with caffeine affecting insulin sensitivity and quality of sleep :(

And I guess depending on my goals milk may not be something I should be drinking too much of.. I generally stick to straight espresso when I'm cutting

But I def. love my flat whites, like this one I made recently :)

You made that yourself at home? Legend. How do you do the whole pretty design on the top? I worked at a cafe for over a year and never managed to figure it out.

BK chocolate hershey pies and malteasers on dvd nights lol

Omg i had a bite of them once... they have got to be the worst most rich things for you evaaaa. Just soo American too. Not that they're not tasty.

mountain bread is hard to come by though. only new world vic park has it around here.

I still haven't found it.... damn. All our supermakets have is that flat wrap bread which is pretty average and nasty in my opinion.

Grr why can't more guys naturally be interested in taking care of themselves. Its so so rare to hear of a male that actually wants to actively look after his health and doesn't live/eat in the moment.

They constantly moan at girls for being paranoid about their weight and being picky about healthy eating. Most think its unreasonable not wanting to eat out at BK's or order in pizza and get mega pissed off when you prioritize the gym.....Or so i've found anyway. *end rant* :x anyway......

hehehe - laughed out loud at that! When a guy's 21 or so, he thinks he's bulletproof - and that he can shed the keg covering his sixpack, not that the keg stops him from being irresistable to chicks...

But later...when time and BK have taken their toll, THEN guys start to pay attention...the 21yo chicks don't look twice at them anymore unless they're buff....

Oh, and to get back on-topic... single-malt scotch!

Cheat days I get stuck into as much Pizza as possible. However I'm staying fairly clean these days so have found those new Choc coated rice cakes from Pak'N'Save pretty good for knocking the urge on the head quickly :pfft:

bummer. the taste isnt spectacular, i just use it to sub for normal wrap bread as it has about 1/4 of the calories/carbs. mind you its also about 1/4 of the thickness haha/

I've owned a fair few espresso machines, also fix them time to time for a bit of cash. The one I'm currently using is a small cafe-class machine I restored when I was first year at Uni.

Regarding the latte art... I've had a lot of practice. I guess I started by watching videos of people pouring it, and trying to emulate their technique. I also worked as a full-time barista for a few months 2 summer's ago, which definitely helped :)

But yeah, too much coffee's bad... and milk is evil! Grr!! :pfft:

Wow good on ya, sounds like a fun hobby! I just don't think i'll ever be skilled enough to emulate that art though. I'm such a clutz.

In relation to milk being evil, do you just mean calories wise? I try and avoid full-milk coffees and stick with good ol' Moccona (heft mere mmmmm) for that reason but is it evil in other ways too? I hope not.... I go through so much. I think I'd go insane if milk disappeared.

Cheers for the link, looks far tastier then the normal wrap crap! I'll have to keep a look out.

Milk causes an very high insulin response, disproportionate to the amount of carbs actually in it and it's GI. So I try to keep a limit on how much I consume (else I'd probably be knocking back a litre a day  )

Thanks for the link. Its interesting to see what he said, although It isn't going to stop me drinking it. Apart from the fact that i would go insane having to restrict my diet by excluding it, there is no real proof (yet) that milk is detrimental in weightloss and muscle building longterm, not to mention its wider nutritional benefits. There is far more (trustworthy) scientific evidence suggesting we are smart to include it in our diet.

Bring on the latte..... =P~

Oats. ;)

I LOVE Oats.

:pfft: Bahaha, yeah right. I'm hoping your not serious. Oats in no way can be classed as a "indulgence" in any sense of the word. :P

lol  Good on ya I say! Thats gotta be the best indulgent response yet, primarily for the fact thats theres little redeeming qualities to it. It has like a days worth of calories in one burger doesn't it? lol, Good ol' BK. Thats just legendary :pfft:

I like going to a french crepe place around the corner from my apartment and having a crepe suzette and kir which is a crepe flambed (on fire) with grand marnier (booze) and oranges with icecream and kir which is more booze to wash it down. That is my ultimate treat and not at all healthy!

Otherwise I will go for chocolate which also isn't healthy I figure you may as well go the whole hog if your indulging.
