Bodybuilders Wanted For New TV Show

Just had this email sent to me:

Hi there

We are currently searching for people to be involved as extras and featured extras for an American TV show called “Spartacus”. It will be a stylistic show set in Rome around 300BC and similar to “300” (the movie) in look. It is being made by the same production company who created “Hercules” and “Xena”.

I have attached a flyer which outlines in detail all the roles we are looking to cast, but in particular we are seeking:

Gladiator Men: At least 180cm (5’11”) in height with a very muscular build. All ethnicities.

We are holding an open casting call this Sunday for anyone you think may be good for any of the roles (but particularly body-building types for the Gladiators).

Or if you have a group of people that may be training in a gym or other location in Auckland, give me a call and we can come to you to take photos and have them fill in a short form.

Open casting call: Sunday 10th May between 12 noon and 2.00pm.

I wouldn't worry too much about the height thing,one of my mates is an extra on this and he's not exactly "imposing" by any stretch of the imagination. He's obviously not a gladiator, being just 5'6" and weighing probably 60kg, but he's getting paid a good whack for his time.
