Canteen lady jiggles.

There ain't no such thing as spot reduction.

So, as Jenga says, get with a PT, set up a balanced diet with a calorie deficit, in order to reduce overall bodyfat, and work the underlying muscle groups to achieve some tone once the bodyfat's gone.

I suggest that if you want to lose the large amount of weight that you do in 8 weeks that you go to a cosmetic surgeon for full body liposuction and start a steady cocaine addiction as it suppresses your apitite and keeps you awake so you'll burn more calories

it's what lindsay lohan did and look how skinny she is now!

Have you considered body for Life?

In my understanding it is aimed at beginners, who want to lose weight, and there is lots of advice within the program.

Also, if you have the money, you could look at investing in a nutritionist.... I am not aware of were you live, so i cant tell you ones near you... but i do know that real nutrition have an online service, and they are affiliated with BFL so if you tell them you are doing that they can structure your diet around that, but even if you just want to do your own thing, you can develop a personal nutritional plan which suits you. I believe the online service costs... there is an initial fee of 165 (includes 2 follow up sessions) then either 65 or 95 a month, depending on how often you want your plan updated.

Can people suggest other services, or provide feedback on this service (both from real nutrition, and personal nutritionists in general.) As I am looking at getting one.

I have only had experience with real nutrition from buying supps from them as they are just down the road from my work

sums up my experience with them.. I was really stoked.

If you are in auckland someone else to consider would be seeing Jo Stewart

wow, thanks for that, I guess I like the idea of fortnightly or weekly updates, but I think that Jo's competition training would be useful if i ever looked at competing.

Does anyone have views on Online vs. in person meetings?

In person is better I feel if you can every few weeks, kind of you can't escape from being judged that way and having your BF taken etc really keeps you motivated.

Fair enough.

I get my BF% tested at my gym frequently (not weekly though... unless i go backwards, then i do another test a week after, to see if the changes i made fixed the problem)

I guess for me it comes down to how close the nutritionist is and how much it costs...

I work in town and live in botany...any ideas/suggestions?
