hiya!

how much water do you drink? (answer in cups of water , Litre or mL)

and if you drink more than 2L, did u have to gradually build up to that much? or did u just start drinking 2 L (or more). Bcus I want to drink 3-4 L of water a day but im still getting the hang of 1L.

I think i should take it slow, gradually build up, maybe 500 mL each week then add on to it subsequent weeks.. so for example:

week 1: 500 mL

week 2: 1L

week 3 1.5L

week 4: 2L

... week 8 : 4L

.... i think that'll help my body adjust as well

thanks!

If i want to drink lots of water, I but an apple juice, and stick some in a water bottle with water at a ratio of 1:10. I find that for me, It causes me to drink 3 litres without even thinking about it, and the only thing which limits me is how often i refill my drink bottle.

However, this isn't just drinking water.... But it means that by drinking the equivalent of a glass of apple juice, I end up drinking 2-3 litres of water as well. You could use this as a stratagy to help yourself get used to being hydrated, and if you want to, you can slowly reduce the amount of apple juice in it to the point where tyou are just drinking 3L Plus of water a day.

It's easy for me - I got a desk job. I keep a 1.5l jug on the desk, fill the glass up and just knock it back in 300ml bursts - it's not hard.

If you've not got a desk job, get a decent drink bottle, the sports shops have 700ml ones. A couple of those is a good start.

Cordial's death to weight loss, so yes, too much sugar.

I think I'm right that apple juice is fructose, which is better than glucose - but every single time you add random extra stuff to your daily nutrition intake, you make it harder to understand what your body is doing.

Water's easy, most gyms and workplaces have coolers to fill bottles for free - and there's zero calories in every glass

Yea, I'd avoid cordial, and apple juice depends...

I don't struggle drinking water, but i just prefer the taste of weak apple juice, but i'm not heavily focused on losing weight at the moment.

If you are worried about calories you can calculate it, but ideally drinking water is the best solution. you should be able to drink 2L a day with no problems with regards to bloating, but you just need to drink a little bit often.

Try carrying a drink bottle with you everywhere you go...

I have a 1.5 litre bottle and I fill it 3 times during the working day, and again for a workout, and then drink another litre for 3 shakes in the day (morning, at work, and PWO) and with my dinner.

7 litres every day of water easily.

Only recently have I added a 500ml fizzy drink to my day for extra calories/ energy but this is not normal.

I must drink 5L+ a day. I'm pretty much constantly thirsty, especially now that I'm bulking again. I had been pretty thirsty guy before converting to a high protein 'bodybuilding' diet, but the switch definitely made it worse!

While it's all good to be hydrated.. it can be quite a burden too. You need to use the bathroom a lot, and take a drink bottle with you whenever you go out (or face feeling like death until you get somewhere you can drink again  )
