Hey there amazing people!

My names Emma, just joined and thought I'd better introduce myself.

I have been searching for a good forum to share tips and advice on my health and fitness obbsession for quite some time and concluded that you guys definutly have the best set up going here!

I'm definutly not into the whole serious bodybuilding, unfortunutly I just don't have that much commitment or time (translation: i'm too lazy) but I'm quite addicted to the gym and have been doing weight training for quite some time.

My obbsession with health and fitness has just come about naturally through the past few years when i decided to adopt a healthy lifestyle and make small changes to lose alot of weight, and Its now taken on a life of its own. My friends and family call me the food and fitness nazi....

But anyway, i have heaps of questions for you guys about a number of issues which i have just been guessing about for soooo long... so thought its about time i got some advice from some professionals.

Look forward to chatting to ya all and hearing about all your experiences :)

sounds to me like u have been bitten by the bodybuilding bug :pfft: . bodybuilding doesnt neasasarly mean 'building big ass muscles', it more 'building your body to how you prefer it'. so welcome aboard and have fun

Lol, maybe I have.…..

I just really admire you all for how much energy you put into treating your body with such respect. It really frustrates me how many people just consume so much CRAP and wonder why they always feel so energy-less and can’t maintain a healthy weight or state of mind….

You put Toxins IN to your body and you can’t help but get Toxic results OUT of it if you ask me….

But then maybe, as my friends always say, I need to “lighten up and eat a whopper already” … :shifty:

i think she said she was from chch....*sigh* never mind :D

lol aren’t mainlanders one and the same with Christchurch-ers?

But yes, I am indeed from the best city in New Zealand. I’m surprised at how many of you are too. Southerners represent! \:D/

Hey! Are you training at the Canterbury Uni gym?

Nope i train at les mills. I really should try the canterbury uni gym though... you train there? What you think of it?

Les Mills huh, same here.. City or Ferry?

Ferrymead all the way. Untill they finish the new city club, than i'll give it a try. How about yourself?

The Uni gym is really good. But peak times are best avoided!

Yeah i've heard that too, have a few friends that go there but they advise me to stay away from the skodyness, particually since i'm used to the standards of les mills after all these years. Plus i tend to avoid anything uni related like the plague as best i can. :)

Unfortunutly my friends are all the "anti-gym" types... i'm sure you know the ones. They don't see the point of paying to do what you could do "outside" apparently... they just totally don't get it.

Thanks for the welcome. :)

And yeah, Any1 know when the Cashel Club is going to be ready?
