The fruit is chosen due to allergies to Apples(raw), Peaches, Nectarines, Plums - so it limits what fruit i can eat a bit :(

H2O +++ Through day

Supliments include - Selenium, Chromium, Manganize, A+D vits, Folic Acid

(I get really sick with a multi vit all in one but can take them individually :-s i know it's odd :shifty: )

When i was training more i had taken Ephadrine and Cola Nut :shifty:

*I could still take them but i don't - what are your veiws on them?

Diet is based on me working a typical Dayshift - hence the 24hr clock used - On my off day it's a bit more of a mess but the quantity of food per serving is the same just at different times - as well when i'm working out that day i add another prot. shake after the work out.

SOOOO let'er rip - help a girl out

You're going to make us think in ounces, ain't ya  Just kidding...

The one thing that leapt out at me was the gap between last-meal and first-meal... at 10h30 it looks a bit long. My day starts around 0530, but I'll have a protein shake at around 2130-2200, just to close that gap. Casein is good for that - being slower to metabolise than whey protein.

Doing the maths, you've 3 shakes and 2 85g serves of cooked chicken, and good serves of carbs, loading the carbs towards the start of the day, and predominantly nice clean carbs (brown rice, bananas etc) in approximately the right ratios - so without running the calculator, it doesn't look too bad to a layman like me.

If you've not got an issue with Vitamin C, that's an omission... and as for ephedrine, well (here at least) it got banished to the "naughty corner" a long time ago, so I've no views, but I'm sure others will.

Do you like Tuna?

if you do, by occasionally swapping chicken for tuna, you get all the benefits of eating fish, ad chicken twice a day may become boring after a while...

and with tune there are usually 5 or 6 different flavours for variety...

also, you appear to be a bit short on fruit and veggies...

remember 5+ a day (assuming you have that campaign in Canada)

Spinach is great for building muscles, and can be blended in with shakes.

also what time do you go to bed? if it is after 9 i would take another protein shake, but i would make it a casein shake.

 I don't wanna go to the naughty corner!

I'm not hot on Tuna - but i do use turkey and i'll use ground chicken and ground turkey to make a burger if' i'm tired of the breasts

Yup we've got the 5 veggie thing here too - i can add more no prob - not happy with it since i'm a pus and don't like veggies lol but i'll eatem cuz they are good for me LOL :)

Ya i usually go to bed about 10pm - so i'll add that last prot shake with milk in

Thank you guys

Any other gems for me? :D

Bloody hell woman I was looking in your journal for this! haha

1st thing I notice is where is your fats? Add 1tspn flaxseed oil twice daily in your PS or as salad dressing mixed with cidar vinagar or I tip on top of an omlette (not with the vinagar haha), tastes good ya?

Just make sure you are taking food in every 2-3 hours max, containing 20-40gms protein. You could replace plain almonds 10 over your simple sugar. Yeah 5 plus per day bizzo is good but better to have free leavy greens over fruit IMO, 2 servings fruit and add vegies to your chicken/turkey meals  You can replace rice for 100gm sweet potato (our Kumara) and replace chicken/turkey with a 6 egg white 1 whole egg omlette with yummy stuff slung in it like mushrooms, capsicum (your bell peppers I believe), onion and a few prawns/shrimps.

LOL sorry chica :) glad you found me now though LOL

I can't change in the almonds - mild allergy but i can have other nuts - i haven't tried the salda dressing yet - i'll try that tomorrow.

... being an Canuk i'm not sure what "bizzo" is LOL

But i'm glad about the sweet potatoe cuz i have just discoved them and LLOOOOOVE them!

I will try the omlette when i get home in the AM.

I think my biggest hurtle will be cooking for my fiance - LOL he's not a BB and doesn't eat frequently enough  - any tricks for that issue? :shifty:

Thanks for the tips i'm gonna fiddle with my diet this weekend and see what i come up with

You guys are making this so much more fun than the last time i did this!

Yeah tell the hubby to go out for dinner hahaha May be in your free time make up a huge dish or bacon & egg pie, lasagne, macaroni cheese, cut into portions freeze, then get one of those out to nuke for him, that should sort him out. Or tell him he needs to eat the same shit as you dam it!

LOL

you know he's ok with eating the same as me - it's getting him to eat as frequently to get the proper nutrition ... he tends to work all day - maybe take lunch then gorge himslef at lunch and/or dinner

it's like talking to a wall to get him to eat more.... feel like i need to learn sign language to explain how bad the way he eats is!

SIGH

ah well that's a different issue all together - maybe once i shed a few pounds he'll believe me that it works and sign up too lol :pfft: we'll see

LOL

best thing for the partner issue is make a batch of rice and give that to him to bulk it out or similar. You need to add a B6 to your diet for what we talked about, I think also zinc if you aren't taking it too, also try and cut back on the fruits to maybe 2 or 3 a day, including juice, drink lots of water, add in some nuts (whatever you can eat) and eat as much chicken/turkey/tuna in place of anything else as you can stomach :) diets looking good though :)

if you can have brazil nuts then you won't need to take a selinuim supplement as they are much better
