Hi team

My name is Mat, I live in Christchurch and train at Les Mills.

I have just started bodybuilding about two months ago. I have been training in Muay Thai kickboxing for a while now, I regularly lifted big weights but never made massive size gains due to a high cardio/lack of quality rest days. Now I have decided to focus purely on bbing as the joints are starting to get hammered and I love weights!

I've got a good hold on things, I'm uncomprimisingly dedicated, I dont mind lifting til I puke and I eat like a tank. I have qualifications in physiology, nutrition etc but keep worrying I'm missing things. I plan to compete as soon as deservingly possible but am lacking a bit of knowledge as to how things "really" work in body building.

Im 6 ft 3 inches, 94 kilos, minimal bf, big legs but small upperbody, my routine is based on 3 on, 1 off, split across 6 areas in order of:- Chest, wheels, shoulders, core, back and arms. I prefer to smash one area as I tend to lose the feel if I combine areas.

I would appreciate any help and mentoring from anyone local who could give me as much info as possible on the scene and anywhere I can possibly improve.

Cheers!
