Body Builder Wanted!

Good evening all Auckland based body builders,

My name is Charlotte and I am a photographer. I was wondering if any one here would be interested in being the subject of a project on bodybuilding that I am working on. My general idea is to document the preparation and practice involved with bodybuilding. i would also like to photograph competitions you are a part of etc etc..

If anyone is interested it would be a great help and would bring the body building culture out of obscurity. It is a fascinating sport/hobby/lifestyle and deserves to be greater known to the public.

Thanks for that! Still rather new to this forum..

My project is for a school folio and may feature in a collective art exhibition at the end of the year. This exhibition will feature many areas of New Zealand culture, and I think that by presenting images of body builders, a diversity and depth of culture will be represented. Also bodybuilding is not documented enough and is an area of personal interest (though I myself am not a body builder)

Careful Charlotte .... you'll get hooked in and before you know it you'll be eating baked potatos and tuna for lunch!

I am not currently in condition but wish you luck - -- would be keen to see the finished product if you can keep us updated.

Where abouts in Auckland are you? And what sort of time do you need from the individual? Male or Female?

Females have it tougher IMO - may make for more compelling material.
