Flamer

Recommended Posts

REDBAK WHEY is a uniquely amino balanced high quality 50/50 blend of Whey Protein Isolate (WPI) and Whey Protein Concentrate (WPC), providing rapid and longer-term protein delivery for improved uptake and utilisation by the body. The 50/50 combination ensures fat and lactose are minimised while protein is optimised with instant and sustained release of amino acids. The WPI/WPC blend is naturally high in BCAA’s (Branch Chain Amino Acids) and is high in immune boosting immunoglobulin proteins to help with cellular and muscular repair and muscle growth.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Mix 40

g (1 SCOOP) with 200 – 250ml of water, milk (skim, low fat, full cream or soy) or juice as desired. Use more or less liquid for a thinner or thicker consistency. For best mixing, use a shaker or electric blender.

Bang for buck - I'd have to rate this product. Mixes well, tastes good in water. I got Vanilla, might try chocolate next time. Paid $121 for a 10lb, although I see it's gone up now (was only last week).

Mine arrived Tuesday - saw it went up to like $168!

Back down to $150 (yesterday). Bit of variation in price going on there!

I can’t nut this one out. Good quality whey protein concentrate is at least 80% protein, and good quality whey protein isolate is at least 90% protein. So this product should return at least 85% protein. But it has only 70% protein?

Redbak are using some very low grade protein powder here or there are a lot of cheap additives in the blend. Either way, this nutritional table looks like another fast way to lose money for no return.

That’s 2 stars out of 10 for value for money.

The serving size is a massive 40 grams. So you're gonna eat through your container much faster to get the same amount of protein that you would get in a smaller serving of any other good protein powder.

The cost per gram of protein is really high - so not good value at all.

agreed!

these companys fool alot of people into thinking they are value for money when the protein percentage is low and the serving sizes are large!

Best to judge the protein % from the per 100g table not from serving sizes. If it does not have a 100g table then its often inferior quality.
