Have been following BFL program (loosely) for 8 weeks. Just saw the doco on Prime on Bodybuilding Pensioners ( I am 51 ). Has motivated me to get more serious. Am not too old after all :D

Nice work on getting into it. I had a guy at my old gym that was in his mid 60's that started bodybuilding and competing. He was awesome. Definitely proves you are never too old to get into it.

Hey Ron, 51, ha!, you got ages to before you're a pensioner. The benefits of resistance training are huge, especially as we age. Even if you never go as far as competing or anything like that you will get massive physical (and psychological, eg increased confidence and self esteem etc) advantages from the training. I have many clients seeing me who are 50 plus and training for the first time. It combats muscle loss and lessening bone density. Its very good as a preventative measure too, eg less likely to be injured doing every day activities. Go for it Ron. :nod:
