I've never been to a powerlifting show.. Would be interesting to check out!

Your 3 lifts should be pretty strong by then Luigi. You should cut to under 90kg and give it a blast!

In terms of competitor numbers, it's always difficult to say. We are on a bit of a roll at Eastside. We had 20 to our bench press club lift a couple of weeks ago. I would hope that there will be 20 to 30 lifting at the 3 lift Canterbury Champs.

Powerlifting is a great spectator sport, particularly the squats. There will be several national and commonwealth champions and record holders lifting so it will be a good show.

There is no charge for admission so we hope to see you there.

Session and weigh in times will be out this week. I will post them shortly.

Times have been confirmed. Weigh in is at 9.30 am and the lifting will commence at 11.30 am. Come along and check out some high quality lifting.
