ok, so prove it?

Dude you know I can't do that, it could implicate others on this site and I ain't gonna do it.

I will say though, I have had a personal conversation with the chief investigator at Medsafe and he has confirmed this with me.

hmmm interesting, so maybe the hacked into it? and also why have they not busted a whole lot of other people on here?i only know of one other. Maybe he's just saying that to cover for an informant, i know cops that have gone to long lengths to cover up obvious informat infomation.

I can also confirm this, I have seen print outs of pm's between members shown to me by medsafe's (Ministry of Health) chief investigator.

I can not say if site admin were or were not aware of the situation, but if they were not then medsafe has some explaining to do.

Just be aware that once something is typed it is always trackable, be careful as we are heading into a whole new era, it will not be long before we are in the same situation and the US.

Medsafe is back logged with cases so just because someone have not been contacted doesn't mean they wont be, it may take 6 months.

I think everyone should take from this what they want and let the thread die, we do not need more attention drawn to this site or our sport.

If I remember correctly the way passwords are stored on forums is very complex unless things have changed it would probably be very difficult to crack into the database without knowing the administrative information.

So how would one obtain such info Mr Bundy? Are you implying something there? :shifty: :shifty: :shifty: :shifty: :shifty:

Are you sure these PM's were not supplied to Medsafe by the person concerned? Obviously their penalty would be much more lenient were they to cooperate fully.

I want to make it clear that I am not accusing the site or administrators of any wrong doing, If Pseud says that they have givin information to medsafe then I have no reason to think otherwise, the fact still remains though that medsafe does have access to PM's from this board, be it via legal a route or otherwise.

I think the hacking possibility is unlikely in any scenario, and extremely unlikely if the story about the subpoena is correct. Why would you bother with a subpoena if you were going to hack your way in anyway?

Technically, our web hosting company would probably be able to access the database, so maybe they were handed a search warrant or subpoena. I would have thought I'd have been told though.

I don't know much about the law here, but surely whoever was accused would have a right to know how the information was acquired?

I've cleared out the rubbish posts from this topic, because I think this needs to be easy to read. However, I'm going to keep this topic locked. Here's why:

- Right now, this topic is based on hearsay. We simply don't know the facts, so we're making up what-ifs.

- The question after that will be "Who?", at which point things have potential to become defamatory.

- Finally, if this does become a court case, the matter might be considered sub judice, and therefore not something we can discuss.

Sorry guys - it's frustrating, I'm sure, but you know I don't lock topics lightly. Normally I get told I don't lock them soon enough. :P
