Creatine, Do I Need it?

It just gives you an extra pump.

You might want to go without it for a little bit and then introduce it after a while when you no longer get good gains. I have just started using superpump 250 which has given me some great gains. I tended not to use it much before that though.

Are you taking any other supplements??

eg: a multi vitamin and fish oil?

Hey all, have just lifting weights, and hoping to compete at some stage, I use a protien powder, but do I need Creatine?

If you've only just started lifting weights you don't really need anything other than a good protein powder. Get into a good consistent routine of regular training, eating six high protein/good carb meals per day. After about 6 months once you have built a reasonable base of strength and have your diet and training sorted you could look at using creatine if you want to increase strength and power in the gym, which should lead to greater long term lean muscle gains.

I just have to buy it from the supermarket. I buy the pack of 6 medallians. I did make enquiries at the butcher, and they could get me some. But being on a very tight budget makes it hard. so i could not afford the large outlay for the butcher.
