Fairynuff Pre-workout drink

Hi

I'm looking for a good but cheap pre-workout drink. So please give me some names!

Which would be better? 1 scoop of ON 100% Gold Standard Whey or one of those NO/Beta Aniline pre-workout drinks?

Good and cheap don't normally go together. What other supps are you using at the moment, what have you used in the past? What are your training goals? How long have you been training for?

No boosters are really only of any use if you've got a high LBM, Beta alanine is most beneficial if you produce a lot of lactic acid or have high acid levels ie, high intensity training, sprint training, endurance training.

Carbs and a little protein/amino acids are probably all most guys need pretraining unless you lack energy and need a kick in the pants from caffeine etc however most pretraining formulas should be used in conjunction with some form of creatine based product.

Looking at your diet plan you've posted I'd get that sorted out before looking at at pretraining formulas - too many crapola carbs in there (cornflakes and jam do not a good body make), plus you've got no essential fats. You could/should be getting about 60g of good fats per day.

a scoop of whey if u want.. u dont realy need a pre workout drink.

you should be more concerned about what your getting into your body after your workout

Yeah, i've been taking 1 scoop of Whey and i guess i'll have to continue with that. After the workout, i take Prolab N Large 2 and ON Creatine with some juice. 45-60 minutes later, i have milk with weetbix and a scoop of ON 100% Cassein. Sounds good?

I've been training for 3 months now (5-6 days a week).

My training goals:

Body fat below 10%

Bulk up (not tooooo much) with lean muscle (not too much fat).

In short, something like Christian Bale or Hugh Jackman! I may sound weird, but their bodies deserve appreciation/jealousy! haha!

As for my crappy diet, i will sort it out in a week. Chicken, Brown Rice, Eggs, Nuts (for healthy fats) are in. Crappy Carbs are out!
