not quite

Counties is before June Nabba Worlds

Counties is said to be 16 May on nabba.co.nz website

yet ammended to be 31 May on gofigure.co.nz

so if your planning to compete in this event best to check the dates!

Well I don't know, I mean we just had the NABBA Asia Pacific Champs and last time I checked, Holland wasn't in Asia pacific region, and India is borderline, yet there were athletes from both those nations who were to compete. Unfortunately the guy from Holland had a car accident on the way to the airport; gutted, but there were two from India, and one from the Philippines. And also, on this same theory, I am from Napier but can compete in any regional I choose. Can you explain? That is if you genuinely know what you are talking about?

guys agent86 does know what he is talking about maybe you dont he was talking about the nabba worlds and universe.

nabba newzealand is affiliated with very few countries

phillipinines Spain India and a few other minor countries

whereas australia england canada usa etc they belong to the original nabba.

there is a forum on this already discussed in the past

so many competitors from nz now travel to australia and compete there for more competition.

see forum (mumbai universe cancelled)under competitors corner

agent86 has competed internationaly in 2 universe contests for nabba nz

so he should have a fair idea.

Ok, fair enough, I certainly don't claim to know everything; it is only my 3rd season body building, and I'm not particularly interested in the politics. I just want to concentrate on competing and be the best I can be. Here's where I was coming from; I have been selected for the worlds and to me it is a rather big deal. Worth more than such a fleeting comment that he made. That's all. I am certainly not trying to pick a fight with anyone on here...

Thanks man, got two months to raise the $5k - $6k to get there first, I think I'll need extra luck just for that! :)

yep went along,

ladies were pleasing to watch, good numbers from the women

teenage guys (3) all looked good, just not conditioned but thats ok they all had good muscle on their physiques

novice mens was biggest mens group with 5...or 6? competitors

open mens was disappointing, not their physiques but the small number

athletic mens were well conditioned, standout guy dont know who he was condition was best in show

masters and grand-masters each had 3

wow that is small numbers. im gettin bit amped about these CNI's, sounds like the numbers are goin to be threw the roof (expecially in the novice men) with 7+ coming from hams alone

I was happy with getting First in Open Athletic (yep, due to the low numbers they incorporated both short and tall) and of course Tom was solid. Also, Scott the novice guy; he had a very shredded physique. Awesome, I reckon he would have tipped me in overalls as well as Tom!

Anyway, I enjoyed the change in format, gave me the chance to watch the ladies instead of being out the back chilling for once.

Thanks to Everyone involved, from the competitors side, it was very well run.
