Legal to import Vinpo?

Im wanting to bring in some nootropics, namely vinpo, does anyone know where this stands as far as customs/ministry of Health etc are concerned?

Yes and No...sorry nothing concrete.

I contacted Medsafe a year ago and they told me Vinpocetine was a derivative of Vincamine, thus prescription-only and not for importing without medical certs.

Recently my distributor gave me MuscleTech naNOVapor which has Vinpocetine in it so I queried him. He got it checked by his 'agent' and they said it wasn't a derivative of Vincamine and was legal to import.

Given my distributor imports more than I do I assume his 'agent' knows stuff so it appears to be legal, it's on everyone's shelves around the country already.

A brilliant supplement with noticeable results :-) wish I had known about Vinpocetine at uni with long hours of studying

Thanks alot, much appreciated. It can be quite an ordeal trying to find out if something is ok to bring in or not, even MedSafe/Ministry of Health don't seem to know whats going on.
