And I gotta tell you , what a arsehole !!

He was arogant and unfriendly, and was very self absorbed !!!

Sure he was big (no one doubts that) but he never competed and as such never became the legend he thought he was !!!

You can be big and nice to you know !!! well I would like to think you could!!

Flangmaster that pic of Flex in his younger days is incredable huh, you know thats where he should have stayed , around 218 , but he kept going up to 235 and lost all that beautifull detail !!! then had to use diuretics to try and get it back, thats when it went all wrong for him !!

Yeah i was there as well, never talked to him tho.Biggest BB have ever seen.

I have been to these guys seminars as well in NZ terry mistos , joe deanglis, warren thin and a couple of other NZ body builders.

Flex has synthol in his shoulders tho. great BB tho.

Is he BB shop in Krd still open ?

I would say Flex doesnt have Synthol in his shoulders , at around the time the pitchure was taken , synthol hadnt been invented !! I would suggest though he had a lot of esicline in him, as most body builders did around that era !!! Flex was a big user of esicline aparrently, but then again so was every one elese!!

its a steroid(anabolic)that has a fast acting half life .To achive its unique fast action it is suspended in a oil that is almost the same properties as Bee venom. Because of this the injection site would get large localised swelling, and bodybuilders soon learnt that this localised swelling could be used to there advantage as it didnt tend to smooth out the area like other formulas would!! I tried it once in my shoulders, Dammmm it hurt and my shoulders did seem rounder but because i am a big baby i didnt do it again, couldnt be bothered with the pain for just a little bigger shoulders , wasnt worth it to me !!

And i agree at the time of that pitchure of flex he was absolutly beautifull, he should have stayed at that weight !!

you guys seen the article on Flex in MD August edition? Talks about his kidney disease and how he started gear at age 18. Reckons in 96 he was using 3 X sust, 800mg of Winnie and four IUs GH EOD. For a Pro BB that is nothing! After his kidneys shut down he competed in the 02 Olympia using only 200mg of Deca a week and still got 7th.
