Deegee... what problems have you been having with bb.com? I placed my first order with them thee months ago, and it still hasn't turned up. In fact, it's a bit spooky you started this thread last night... just yesterday I sent them an email complaining about their piss-poor service. I think my first order will also be my last.

just that slow delivery time, and an order that never arrived. My orders are nothing usualy that could cause problems mostly just creatine products and fat burners. 3 months is way too long; without knowing what the product is of course.

with the good kiwi dollar I will continue to make online purchases because of the cost of the products here after p&p I am usualy saving 50%

I'm importing some lifting straps... highly illegal ones, of course!

Also ordered some creatine, to make the freight charge worthwhile.

Here's bb.com's reply to last night's email:

Hello,

I am terribly sorry for this incredibly long delay on your order. I will start a trace on your package right now so we can locate it and forward it to you as soon as possible. Again, I apoligize. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you. Have a great day!

Thank you Meathead Mike Bodybuilding.com

Pretty much the same reply as all the others in the dozen emails going back and forth between us to date, so I'm not getting my hopes up. The only difference is the offer to finally try and locate the package. Very decent of them - a mere 3 months late. Up till now they've assured me that because they send it in a bulk shipment, it was impossible to trace. I wonder what made them act now? Could it be because I mentioned this forum in passing?!

Just full of idiots who argue and flame all day long.

Ahhh, yes. This was a response to the first photo I put up there...

"You don't look like you have worked out a day in your life. If I had been lifting for 2 years and looked like you, I would quit."

To be fair, the other bb.com members then abused hell out him. It was the most replied-to thread I've ever had! (And the most united I've ever seen bb.com!) :D

  • 2 weeks later...
hey guys,

have any of you had dramas with bb.com\????

thye have just asked for som weird info form my Vsa. stuff that i never normally need to give. the bank warned me off using them.... comments?

I have never had any problems with payments using them, the only problem I have had is postage and I never found out if that was them. I.E they never sent it or if it was lost in the post, all other dealings have been ok.

Goig off psudos experience they seem a bit slack in reposting lost items. They never did with mine

Yeah... I think they asked me for the security code on the back of the card. Not all places do it, but it's quite common.

My own experience with them has been pretty bad. I couldn't recommend them. I'm just going to send them one last email to see if I can get a response out of them, then I'll post the full saga on Monday.

I'm intrigued the bank warned you off them, though! Which bank, and why?

yeah check this. they say they are holding my shipment to confirm postal address. hoever they have already completed the transaction. I have contacted the bank for the recourse to get the cash back if i don't get shipment confirmation from them. and then receive the stuff in 2 weeks. a bit of a shame though as they were really cheap.

What they are trying to ascertain is that the card is yours. Internet fraud is common, as I have found out. This is a simple process to check if you are the owner of the C/C. Give them a chance, if they don't keep you informed by email then you can do a charge-back on your C/C via your bank.

I prefer companies that are a bit careful rather than just accepting credit card details immediatly. You will find the process faster after you have used the same card and address with the same people in the future.

Though most say they dont store your details, they do but it makes things faster.

yeah i think you guys are right. i have just passed it on. it just seems new to me i have never had to do this number before, and was pretty hesitant. looks like i am "on file" now so should be alright for next time. i hope the bad experiences that other nzbb members have had are going to end up not being true with me :?

big plus for bb.com.

a chat link with an operator. what a fantastic idea!
