Hey People!!

25yr old dude living in wellington, only just recentley got into this. Only been going hard for 2 months now. I wanted to see if I could pass the 6 week challenge and keep up diet/work out etc. And get a feel for it. Now im addcited.

Food is made up of my own choice and design and a Pro ( cant spell nutranalist so Ill say pro, its how I roll )

Meal 1. Protein Shake and piece of fruit. and morning supplments :)

Meal 2. Sandwich, overloaded with vegs + chicken :)

Meal 3. Tuna + rice

Meal 4. ( 4pm ) Protein shake ( calci milk ) + veges

Meal 5. Chicken Salad with extra chicken ! :o)

Meal 6. Tuna + rice

Meal 7. PRotein Shake with claci milk b4 bed.

Work out = monday - upper body, tuesday - cardio, wednesday - lower body - friday - upper body - sat cardion, sunday day offf :)

My programe is a bit average at the moment, just doing this to change my body in the right direction. work with a personal trainer once a week to get the right direction and techinque. In a months time Ill change it to something a bit more severe :)

Sups : creatine, Protein powder Balance, 100% protein Whey Wpc/Wpc or as I say! the purple one ! :) .

Fitness sport background = Equestrian. When I was 13-15 I use to be a jumps jockey, got sick of breaking everything then grew to 6ft1 pretty much a end of my racing career. So moved to hunting and showjumping and eventing, Retired 6 months ago from riding so need something else that requires me to live and breath it and this is the winner. And ive always wanted to do this but never had the guts to really say " I wana compete in body building " Becuase im so dam good at everything I do haha, then go to the gym and be a total noob!

Goals: to get built/cut + compete. im all about competitons im very competitive , so I love the fact that this sport is something im new to and something that pretty much everybody kicks my A** on, gives me sooooo much more reason to get out of bed in the morning and go crazy at the gym.

also appying to be a cop at the end of the year so am going crazy nuts so I know I can smash the fitness tests to pieces.

current body stats. hmm nothing to write home about, only been 2 months still have a little bit of fat to drop. I know im 6ft1-6ft2 and around 80 something kgs. yup I know sad I dont know, but Im a visual person. Will post photos of before and after in a few months.

SWEET!! 5 hour rant over.

Thanks for that Greek, may seem dumb to say but I was wondering what was going to help me with grip strength.

I guessed that everything was it, like one of them murder movies when you guess that everybody is the killer and then you find out that its that person you guessed 20 people ago then do the "SEE I WAS RIGHT!!"

My thing will be swimming :) im a unco swimmer from narm. just starting to get lessions now. But MAN I can do the MEANNN doggy paddle :pfft:

welcome!

i'm a crap swimmer too mate but managed to do the swim in 57secs and scrap through, got told that i had all the technique of a drowning spider.

the caliper for the grip strength test doesn't move, it adjusts to the size of your hand, so you have to do the "ugly face contest" and exert as much pressure as you can. one thing i found helpful for this was to get a block of wood that fits into the palm of your hand(roughly from the base of your thumb to the first joint past your knuckles) and stand (or sit on the couch in fornt of the tv) with your arm straight out in front or to the side at shoulder level, and squeeze the shit out of it for 3-4 seconds at a time do this maybe 10 times per hand (maybe alternate them).

hope this helps.

Lol, glad I'm not alone :pfft: They chucked in a 10kg weight (I only weighed 55kg at the time) for me to swim on my back with in the 'alternative' duck dive....glug glug lol
