Wondering how people get protein powder at a cheap price?

Here’s the secret.

Avoid all the middlemen selling imported protein powders and go straight to the New Zealand manufacturers.

Email them and say three things:

(1) Introduce yourself.

Example: I’m a dedicated bodybuilder training at my local gym in Taupo. I love your product, but I struggle with the cost as I live on a student budget.

(2) Make your request.

Example: I understand you support New Zealand athletes. Can I buy directly from you at wholesale price?

(3) Offer them something in return so you both win.

Example: In return, I will tell my friends about your protein powder and encourage them to buy it too. And if you post me a T Shirt, I will wear it at the gym to advertise your brand.

So there you go - it requires a bit of effort from you.

Try these companies for starters.

Eat Me

Horleys

Good luck!

Alacen 450 is around $405 inc GST & freight from Davis Trading in Auckland.

But it’s cheaper directly from our local brands. Ask Nutralife, Eat Me or Horleys to flick you a sack of Alacen 450 off a factory floor pallet. Eat Me used to courier to the door at a flat $350.

BUT only buy this if you can store it properly.

Most people waste their money because Alacen 450 is extremely hygroscopic. Once you open the plastic bag, the powder works like a sponge and starts absorbing moisture and smells from the air. It also needs to be kept at a constant cool temperature.

By the time you have eaten 5kg over a month, you are left with a huge sack of soggy powder, full of rock hard lumps, stinks like wet washing, last month’s fish dinner and lamb roast combined and it’s completely devoid of any nutritional value.

Money down the drain …
