Body 4 life vs Atkins diet etc

Have done both ----> Body for life is a commercialised bodybuilding plan (simplified). It is more sound and balanced in terms of training needs so I would recommend that over the Aitkens diet.

Both plans work but the B4Life program is essentially better for you in the long term.

I tried Atkins a long time ago but it really didn't seem prudent to me...couldn't get my head around the mix of foods. Plus, a lot of what I read even then suggested that folks got easy gains, then went backwards.

No personal experience of BFL, but anecdotally it does seem to have been more effective for bodybuilders and folks seeking to work on their body shape.

I've done both... Lost a shitload of weight on Atkins a long time ago, before I knew what I was actually doing to my body. It's really not sustainable and that means you can end up putting the weight back on...

I'd go with the consensus and say that BFL is much more sustainable long term and I'm assuming you're not after a quick fix!
