I think it depends what confidence you have in your doc & how you relate to him/her. Most docs will have some knowledge of the basic compounds used but have little knowledge on there use, dose, effects & sides as it relates to BBing. Even my Sports Physician has little knowledge of what I do & he is one of the top guys in NZ. Invariably they are interested in learning more but they will not normally condone or prescribe gear unless in an HRT environment, & then it can still be limited. Just go with what feels best for you, but if you present with bloods all over the place & Test levels off the roof, then they are gunna know pretty much what you are up to. :D
