Stallone at 62 - Impressive

Agent

Recommended Posts

Here's a shot from sometime in the last week or so, he's obviously been training hard for his new action/war flick called "The Expendables" which should kick ass by the way, with a cast that includes himself, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Mickey Rourke, Forest Whitaker, Randy Couture and possibly Ben Kingsley and Robert Knepper (T-Bag from Prison Break).

And in case anyone's wondering, yes the tats are real.

Don't be haters, Rambo will kick your arse.

Perhaps its a generation thing, I grew up with Arnold, Stallone and Dolph as my movie idols (to name a few). As for the speech thing, I don't think it detracts for the roles he plays and I know I don't go to an action movie for the acting. Don't quote me on this but I thought the speech thing was the result of nerve damage, not too many punches to the head.

I can't wait for "The Expendables", what an awesome cast. And then there is the next Rambo movie..... I hope.

Stallone actually wrote the Rocky films. Stallone saw the Muhammed / Ali–Chuck Wepner fight which inspired the foundation idea of Rocky. That night Stallone went home, and in three days he had written the script for Rocky. After that, he tried to sell the script with the intention of playing the lead role.

And yes a lot of GH. 48 vials of Jintropin were found in his bags on his Aussie trip last year

The tattoos do a good job of detracting from his torn pec.

Correct. He tore it badly while having a bench press contest with Franco Columbu.

Probably not the smartest thing to do, Franco was super strong back in the day.

aHHHH the old test of manhood injury - I never knew that!, ... pretty cool way to incur an injury .... "Oh yeah by the way I ripped my pec in a bench press competition against Franco Columbo". :pfft:

who won?

I never heard anything about who won, I'd imagine that Stallone got injured while Franco was still going strong. I heard over the years that his best bench was anywhere between about 160kg and 180kg in his prime, a weight that Franco shouldn't have had a problem with. Franco was supposed to have reached just under 240kg for his best lift.
