Help! Knee Sleves / Supports

Been finding the knees getting sore lately with the different work I've been doing.

Can people please recommend some good products?

I go on trade me and there's just so much variety and most look like cheap Chinese brands but don't know if they'd do the trick!

Tommy Kono bands.

I got mine imported from APT straps..

DEFINITELY worth it.

I use the elbow and knee sleeves.

Seriously, cant th ink of anything else that comes close.

im considering some form of knee support too as i have a 1 dodgee knee. :?

i have heard that alot of the wraps etc cause a fair amount of discomfort when doing higher reps, is this the case with them all or is there some that arnt to bad?? :-s

Wraps are a pain in the ass. I would definately go for sleeves over wraps if you're just looking for some additional knee support.

Mac reckons his Tommoy Kono's fell to bits after a few sessions?? He's rating the Rehband (sp?) brand pretty highly.

LP Supports @ $20ish a pop seem to work well for me.

My Tommy Kono bands are holding well, trick is to not getting your nails or sharp objects snag the insides.

Rehband's are all good from what I hear.

Sorry for the confusion Varven, Mac wears Rehbands, Nickoli & I went with "LP Support" brand @ $20ish each. Available at many sports stores over here (not Rebels tho, who only had Nikes @ $60 each with dodgy stitching!).

The McDavid brand is the strongest knee support we sell. Around $30 for just a sleeve or you can go all the way up to $80 odd for the full-on hinged knee support

Nike's with dodgy stitching....much like the one I am wearing now no doubt ...Worn it to the gym twice and stiching is coming away..back to the store on Monday...."Just do it" my ass.
