Something to ponder......

your an idiot for trying to win an argument that could go on for the rest of eternity. everyone is entitled thier own opinion. :banging:

That was kind of my point - don't rubbish other peoples beliefs.

Yes, possibly a stupid argument to enter into.

Ok, well how is it completely irrelevant then? 1-day more or less said that non-Christians don’t’ believe in the Christian “God” however they are willing to take part in / observe Christian holidays. My point is that these so called “Christian” holidays were originally pagan, turned Christian and now, to a certain extent, secular holidays. So for 1-day to claim these holidays as solely belonging to Christianity would be false.

What? 1-day never claimed that they were solely belonging to Christianity. He said the basis for the holiday revolves around Christianity. Which many of them do - they all revolve around aspects of Christianity.

It's irrelevant because the holiday, as you said is becoming more secular for some. And for others its not. What the holiday was originally based upon has nothing to do with how people celebrate it now.

This thread is just like all the religious arguments that go on, and on, and on and on.....................................................

I suggest we all let it go because at the end of the day no-one is really going to win.

I like having discussions with "happy clappers" on religion just for fun. Some of my friends "believe" and that's fine - what ever pulls your chain. But we all know it an endless argument.

Yes there was a dude eons ago who got a bunch of people together to believe in a single cause. And a whole shitload of people have been doing the same thing for eternity. Whatever.

Reckon Weider did the same thing.

Nailed!

What about plastic weights...don't they count?

As long as they aren't pink.

Which leads me to a question.

If the dumbell weight rack in your gym has the 12kgs to 20kgs coated in pink plastic (as opposed to blue) - then the 20kgs to 40kgs blue and 40kgs coated onwards in black - how many dudes would avoid the pink ones come hell or highwater. Would they bust their arse to get to the 20's to avoid being seen with pink weights.
