Tua or Cameron

I don't think cameron can knock tua out. I think tua has a good chance of winning the fight in the first 3 or 4 rounds by KO otherwise the longer it goes the better chance cameron has if he doesn't get cut.

Id agree with this it will be all over within the 4th or it will go all the way! i dont think Cameron has the punch to knock Tua over but if he can get through to the 4th keep his head i think then he will out punch Tua and get it on a points decison.

Id like to se cameron take it!!!

Lots of wishful thinking here, Tua has KO power right through to the end of his fights. While Tua has fought bums for his last few fights, he at least mostly KO'd them quickly and people forget he's beaten 4 world champions in his time (not sure what everyone is talking about him being ordinary in his last fight, he was his lightest weight for a long time and knocked the guy out in the second while Cameron was almost out on his feet in his last fight then didn't have the power to put the guy away), Cameron has fought nothing but bums his whole career and seems to get wobbled by them at some point.

He's not an elusive fighter, and Tua will find him easy to hit. While Cameron seems like a good guy and I'd like to see him do well, he's completely outclassed with guys like Tua.

I agree with you fully.

Tua just wants to avoid a manual labour job for the rest of his life.

Thats a fairly stereotypical / ignorant comment from you Android...wouldnt have thought you would post something like that.

Do you happen to know what other career prospects Tua could line up other than professional boxing?

Er....well..he used to be a dishwasher...so thats a definite possibility, although possible arthritis from boxing may limit him there. He spelt Awesome with an O, so perhaps not a school teacher...at least one that teaches English.

Any other thoughts for post-boxing Tua careers?

He's kind of right it might read a bit dim coming from me.

I mean to say I think he's like Mike Tyson missing his fame, limelight and fortune which is in stark contract to whatever he is doing today or has to do tomorrow. (yeah you could flame me for now defining a man by his job, or how about flaming me for putting down manual labourers?)

I think my honest intent is known here. I don't wish he loses or begrudge him a win if he is the better guy on the night.

can anyone name 1 world class fighter cameron has fought?.....

absolutely none!

yes tua was outboxed by lewis but so has a long lst of quality fighters, you can't compare that defeat to this fight.

rahman, moorer, maskaev, riuz, all knocked out by tua!

tua's record. 53 fights, 49 wins, 1 draw, 3 losses, 44 by KO!!

defeated by 2 former world champs and 1 who would've been if he hadn't gone bonkers!

disregarding rahman after the bell, when has tua ever been put on the deck let alone an 8 count?

and cameron is going to knock him out?

LOL

Will be an interesting fight. I think what Android is trying to say is, if Tua loses the fight, it'll be the equivalent to Mike Tyson having to fight average joes in los vegas for a living. Though it won't be a good look for Cameron, if he's beaten by some one who the general public considers washed up.

I saw tua about 2 months ago at my local eatery filling his plate up on the asian buffet and going in for seconds. he was looking very stocky but looks like he's carrying alot of excess weight.I doubt he can get anywhere near his top boxing form again. If Cameron fights a smart fight David will recieve most of the punishment. There's always they lucky power punch from tua, i guess the question is does he still have one?

MY moneys on points or TKO to Cameron

tua has never been knocked out...

Mark Hunt hadn't been knocked out before NYE either and he was known for his iron jaw...

I think Tua will take him out, but just adding to the other replies saying there is a first for everything :pfft:

that Hunt vs Manhoef fight was the biggest upset ever

If Tua wins it will be by knock out, if Cameron wins it will be by decision.

Tua was the most dangerous boxer ever, no one wanted to fight him because of his jaw

i think diamonds post in the first page of this thread summed it up nicely

bigred8 u sound like a ahole

if u think tua is so shit u fite him

il pay to watch.

I don't think he is shit at all. He is a great guy and WAS an excellent boxer, with one of the biggest punches and as good a chin as any of his peers...BUT he had certain obvious physical and skill limitations AND MOST IMPORTANTLY failed to make the ABSOLUTE MOST of his talents by NOT adhering to the consistent disciplined dietary and training regime and NOT ultimately having the mental-focus/attitude of a TRUE champion...and that's the REAL SHAME of David Tua.

No on else game to suggest any post-boxing careers for Davey

Hint hint ha ha ha.... One involves Burgers with a Scottish name and the other relates to Las Vegas and "the Brown Bomber's" post-boxing career at Caesar's Palace...I'm sure lots of you know that one.....only we'd be substituting Caesar's for the Otara Market

This is just my opinion;

I don't really think Tua stands a chance unless he pulls a hook out of his behind.

Cameron is a solid strong fit fighter, he doesn't take big risks and that will play against Tua, Cameron will wear him down round after round with reach and activity, he will dance around the hook and laugh at Tuas jab. I think this Tua's might get knocked out for first time ever, if not he'll end up getting nailed by the points anyway.

Tua, I wish you luck, I'd love to see you get a good left hook in and KO Cameron but I just don't see it happening.

Cameron all the way.

Tua showed how average he was when he came up against Lewis - a real fighter.

Tua, is too small and too unfit to compete with the best. He does a powerful hook on him, but thats it. His jab is average and he relies on his hook to win him fights.

Er...EXACTLY! The Lewis fight was an humiliation. Tua was a great fighter and could have been better with a consistent work ethic and better diet habits (my bf used to know Kevin Barry very well and was involved with some of David's training at Les Mills many years back...his genetic propensity for fast and fatty food was a BIG point of contention between him and his trainers)....BUT he was NEVER top world class.....of course neither is Cameron...but he will be the fitter and younger man...and Tua will still have the bigger punch (albeit he seems to have lost some of his original power). The fight will be INTERESTING!

lol Tua's fitness has never been a problem, he can go 12 rounds easy for a guy you think eats fast food before his big fights.

Lewis was so boring in tht fight against Tua, Tua had Lewis backing up the whole fight while Lewis was thrwin tht left jab to keep him away. Thers nothin much a short slugger can do agaisnt a giant careful fighter like tht.

i deffntly think Tua is goin to KO cameron, jst saw the press conference and really looking forward to this fight now, the location hasnt been set yet, if they fight in AKL vector arena i will deffntly go and watch.
