The maggot story was fake. The local health department (or something) tested it and found the maggots to only be a few days old, despite the burger being 9 days old.

BK is disgusting. If you're brave enough, do a comparison of the nutritional info between BK and McD's. Also look at how the two stores prep their burgers.

BK=YUCK. :oops: Super bland too.

Re: Kebabs

Yeah, can be tasty..but gee that meat has gotta be dodgy...how old do you reckon it is sometimes (and sometiems it smells a bit odd...from PAST experience)...see those big sides of meat they have hanging and cut from..... Also, you generally get a rather small serving of meat and a much larger serving of rice/pita etc....ie large carbs/fat small protein (generally at least).

wendys burgers are nice, they use raw beef instead of frozen paddies like wat mc'ds or bk use, wendys fries are also a better option than bk and mc'ds.

if you want to eat a lighter burger then get a grill chicken burger w/light mayo frm wendys or bk, mc'ds have those under 9gram fat deli roasts, i like the swt chilli chiken lite.

n haha i also thought wtf did mc'ds burgers get smaller? it been awhile

  • 9 months later...

If you're loaded or want a treat, try Wildfire at the Auckland Viaduct- all the meat you can eat for about $30-$40. Don't even have to have any salad/carbos if ya don't want, they just keep bringing different meat to the table and carve it off for ya.

I can't believe no one likes fish 'n' chips. Yum!

When I read the title of this thread I thought it was about dining out.

How do people get on when you have to go out for a flash meal at a restaurant? The portion sizes are just ridiculous! It's a bummer having to pay $30 plus just to eat a quarter of it.
